What is the process with pricing made-to-measure clothes?
Made-to-measure goods require a conversation between the Customer and the Maker before the price is determined. Once you have spoken with the Customer about the details of the project, you can then set the price for them to either accept or decline the project.
What happens if a job is going to cost more than the customer has paid?
The cost for alteration and repair projects is fixed. If a Customer changes the brief for a made-to-measure project then the Maker should update the new cost in the platform. Only after the Customer has accepted the new cost in the platform should you continue working on the project.
When is the payment processed?
Once you confirm in the platform that the project is complete, The Seam will then release payment. It should arrive in your bank account within 3-5 working days.
How do I collect reviews?
Once you’ve completed a project, your Customer will be asked to complete a review of the work. The more projects you complete the more reviews you can collect.
