Growth Marketing

Location: UK Based (able to travel to London if required)

Summary

Design and execute marketing strategies that accelerate growth at The Seam over the next 12 months.

This role will focus on building The Seam’s digital presence, growing our community, and driving new customers to the platform through compelling content and thoughtful marketing campaigns.  You will lead social strategy, content creation and community engagement while helping shape The Seam’s voice across digital channels.

About The Seam

The Seam is building the infrastructure for care & repair in fashion.

Through our platform, customers book repairs and alterations delivered by a distributed network of Makers across the UK. We partner with leading retailers including adidas, H&M Group and Primark to embed repair services directly into the customer journey — reducing returns, improving fit and extending the life of clothing.

Founded in London, The Seam is entering its next stage of growth and we are looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to help expand our reach and bring more customers into the platform.

 

The Role

This role supports the centre of The Seam’s growth strategy. You will design and execute marketing campaigns that strengthen our brand presence, build an engaged community and convert interest into new customers.

Working closely with the founder, you will shape our social voice, guide content creation and develop creative ways to engage audiences who care about fashion, craftsmanship and clothing care.

You will also collaborate with a video editor and other contributors to produce high-quality digital content.


Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy

  • Design and execute marketing strategies to accelerate customer growth  

  • Identify opportunities to expand The Seam’s reach across digital channels

  • Plan and launch marketing campaigns that drive awareness and new customer acquisition

 

Content Creation

  • Lead The Seam’s social media presence across key platforms

  • Build and engage an online community around clothing care, repair and craftsmanship

  • Develop creative and engaging ways to connect with our digital audience
     

Brand and Creative Direction

  • Develop a deep understanding of The Seam’s brand and tone of voice

  • Help guide how the brand shows up across digital platforms

  • Ensure all marketing content reflects the creativity and care that define The Seam
     

Customer Growth

  • Drive new customers to The Seam through thoughtful content and campaigns

  • Test and experiment with new formats, platforms and creative ideas

  • Track engagement and growth to understand what content resonates most with the audience
     

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6–12 months you will have:

Helped significantly grow The Seam’s digital community

Strengthened the brand’s voice and presence across social platforms

Launched campaigns that drive measurable increases in customer acquisition

Established a consistent and engaging content rhythm across channels

 

About You

You are creative, strategic and deeply interested in storytelling through digital content.

You understand how to build communities online and how thoughtful content can drive brand growth.


You likely have:

3+ years experience in marketing, growth or social media strategy

Strong content writing and storytelling skills

Experience building and managing brand presence on social platforms

An instinct for creative design and visual storytelling

A strong understanding of digital communities and audience engagement

A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset


Bonus experience:

Experience working with consumer marketplaces or startups

Experience working with creators or building online communities

Interest in fashion, craftsmanship or sustainability
